Resources: Information and Support

On these pages we’re collecting material from around the world which has particular relevance to Borrowed Time. The Books, Articles and Opinion page contains details of publications which focus on emotional responses to climate change and ecological degradation, including particularly works from a faith and/or theological perspective.

The Sources of Help and Support page contains details of organisations and individuals beyond Borrowed Time which have come to our attention, and which offer help. There are numerous such sources and the inclusion of any of them here does not imply an endorsement or recommendation of any kind.

As yet, we haven’t compiled a page of musical resources as a standalone heading, but here is some information on an album which has kindly been recommended to us, and which you might like to explore:

Double Album by Resound Worship : Downcast Souls Expectant Hearts.
These songs “offer a vocabulary for times of struggle – disc one looks towards the struggle and expresses our pain before God, disc two looks out from and beyond the struggle to a sure and certain hope. These are themes and orientations which belong together in our worship and we have attempted to do the two at the same time, reflecting they ways they both complement and jar with each other.”

There’s an accompanying 20-chapter Biblical Reflections book. All can be downloaded (some at a cost).
